Our San Antonio TX bed and
breakfast inn is very different

we believe that one size does not fit all.

All of our bed
and breakfast rooms are of comparable quality and of equal value so
your price does not depend on your room but instead which breakfast
you choose. Our guests enjoy the flexibility of our
untraditional format.
Unlike other bed and breakfasts
where you must get up, dressed and go to the dining room to eat, when
you stay at A Yellow Rose Bed and Breakfast, if you choose a
full breakfast we deliver it to your room and you do not
need to face the public before you've fully awakened. Instead, you
savor a quiet breakfast in your room.
Another
option is a Continental breakfast that is stocked in your
refrigerator when we service your room. This way, regardless of how
early you start your day, you still have breakfast before you leave
for touring or business.
For those of
you who prefer to not be bothered with the first meal of the day, you
can pay a base rate that includes coffee, tea and juice. If you stay
for a few nights, you don't have to have the same routine each
morning. You can mix it up however you want. Some guests
choose the same breakfast and rate for the duration of their stay,
while others sample all three.

we offer inn charm and hotel
privacy. Our guests
appreciate the quiet environment of an inn rather than the
hustle and bustle of a big hotel.

stayed here for a quick getaway to celebrate our two year
anniversary. Our room was larger than expected, with a
spacious separate bathroom. The location couldn't be beat
-- A Yellow Rose B&B is surrounded by beautiful historic
homes and is within walking distance to the Riverwalk. We
chose the full breakfast option and were delighted --
there was more than enough to satisfy both of us. I have
stayed at a number of bed and breakfasts and this one is

Unlike most bed and
breakfasts, all of our rooms have private entrances, so you don't
go through anyone else's space to get to yours and you can come and go
without much notice. We live on the property in the adjacent house so
if you need something, we are just a few steps or a phone call away.
We believe our role as innkeepers is to be available when and if our
guests need assistance. Each guest is different and our
goal is to offer the utmost privacy while being accessible.

One of
the things we most appreciate when we travel is readily
available tools and information to make our stay more
comfortable and convenient. Your room has a refrigerator
that contains your breakfast beverages and sodas. |
You may
also use it for your restaurant leftovers and any other items you
bring with you. You don't need to pack a robe, hair dryer, alarm
clock, flashlight, corkscrew, CD player or CD's. They are all in
your room, along with an assortment of books and magazines. More
importantly, you will find a custom-made binder with our suggestions for places to go, see and do in San
Antonio. The binder also includes maps, brochures and menus
from neighborhood restaurants. If you are not traveling with
your own cell phone, please let us know and we will
provide one for you. When it is time to check out, we are happy
to print your boarding passes for you or stow your
luggage if your departure is later in the day.

We do our best
to set up each room so that when you arrive after a day of travel, you
can immediately find what you need to relax and enjoy your stay.
We love to
travel and our goal is to provide our guests with the same quality and
comforts that we appreciate when we leave home. Ask about our package
deals that include flowers, massages, sweet trays, golf, birthday
cakes, and whatever else you may desire.
